Sgraffito is a clay decoration process which involves applying a layer of coloured clay to a clay surface and then scratching a design or pattern into the coloured clay to reveal the clay colour underneath.
On this workshop we will make basic plate shapes and sgraffito onto them. There will be a choice of coloured clays to choose from. Please feel free to bring your own design to scratch or use the inspiration and resources provided.
