Potters Wheel Taster Fri 22nd Sept 2pm

In this 60 minute taster session, you will have the chance to use 2 x 12oz lumps of clay to make two pots on the potters wheel. You will be shown how to centre the clay, basic throwing techniques and shaping ideas.
After a week of drying, your pots will be fired in our on-site kiln. You can chose from our small range of studio glazes, which our teachers will apply for you after the first firing. Your pots are then fired in the kiln for a second time. Once cooled and packed, we will contact you for collection.
*We advise all customers to come with shorter nails if possible, tie back any long hair and wear closed toe shoes for your safety on the wheels! *
Please note if you wish to use our first floor Tearoom during your visit, you must book via the website as availability cannot be guaranteed.
