Potters Wheel Experience (2 hours) Sun 17th Sept 11am

In this 2 hour session, you will have the chance to use 4 lots of clay, to make pots of your design. It’s the perfect follow up from one of our taster sessions, however if you have no experience, our tutors can teach you the basic techniques needed to throw a pot to get you started. You will be shown how to prepare and centre the clay, basic throwing and shaping techniques and how to remove the finished pot off the wheel.
After a week of drying out, we will then fire your pot in our on-site kiln. You have a choice of studio glaze colours for us to glaze them for you. Glazed pots will then be refired up to 1220oC. Once cooled and packed, we will contact you to let you know they are ready for collection.
*We advise all customers to come with shorter nails if possible, tie back any long hair and come with closed toe shoes for your safety on the wheels!*
