DESCRIPTION:If you have enjoyed one of Karen’s regular watercolour Wednesday classes\, this is a ollow on class offered here at Eden. \nJoin local artist Karen Buckels to learn techniques for painting floral landscapes using watercolour paint. \nYou will need to have previously attended one of Karen’s classes where the technique of watercolour is taught\, if you haven’t please book on the 1pm class first. \nIf you have your own watercolour materials please do bring them along. \n  \nPlease note that if you wish to use our Tearoom after the workshop you must book via our website as we cannot guarantee availability. \nWe work hard to price our workshops fairly and offer good value for money. Join us in Lancashire on our Winter Modern Calligraphy Workshop with festive theme and start your Calligraphy journey with this mindful\, creative pastime and art form. \nGuided by expert tutors; Lucy Mellor and Polly Mellor\, you will begin by covering the fundamentals of how to hold the dip pen\, learning the pressures and rhythms that give calligraphy its characteristic contrasting strokes before moving onto learning the upper and lower alphabet\, how to link letters\, first words and phrases. You will learn how to draw decorative illustrations and flourishes to complement your calligraphy lettering on stationery pieces.
