90min Table Allocation

Each booking is allocated a 90-minute time slot which must be adhered to during busy periods due to back-to-back bookings. We may not enforce this during quieter hours, however this cannot be guaranteed. We ask kindly that you please arrive on time for your booking to ensure that you get the most out of your visit

Amendments to your Tearoom Booking

Need to increase the number of people or change the time of your booking with us? You can either do this through the link in your confirmation email or by giving us a call. Please note, if ringing us to ammend, unless we are able to speak with a guest directly and confirm any changes verbally, the original booking details remain in place

Allergies and Dietary Requirements

If you have any food allergies or dietary requirements, please inform a member of our team who will be happy to advise you on a safe choice. Please be aware that while we take every precaution to minimise risk, we cannot guarantee that menu items will be entirely free from certain allergens due to the presence of allergens on our premises and ‘may contain’ warnings on some ingredients.

Prams/Wheelchair Access

We ask that customers state in their booking comments if they require room for a pram/wheelchair for their booking, as we have a select number of tables which can accomodate these requests. Due to our tearoom being situated on the first floor, we have to be careful where we situate prams/wheelcchairs in case they block walkways and other tables when busy, which would then create a fire risk for us in case of emergency/evacuation. It is also extremely important that servers can safely carry hot food and drinks to all tables.

Heating and Providing Boiling Water for Baby Bottles/Food

For safety reasons we are not able to fill bottles with boiling water or heat food/bottles in the microwave.

We are able to warm milk and baby food upon request, but unable to provide customers with containers of hot/boiling water to do this themselves.

Afternoon Tea

When booking, please note how many of each Afternoon Tea you require e.g., 2x classic, 1x gluten free, and 1x children’s.

If only some of the party are having afternoon tea, make a booking with this number of people,  and then state in the booking comments that there are extra diners. This ensures that you pay the correct deposit amount, and that we can subsequently allocate you an appropriate table.

Please note our full tea menu is unlimited within the afternoon tea price but any coffee or other drinks are additional to this.

Ammending/Cancellation of Afternoon Tea

No longer can make it to your booking? Please let us know at the earliest convenience

If 48hrs or more notice is given, you can rearrange your booking/cancel and get your deposit refunded

If less than 48hrs notice is given, your deposit is rendered non-refundable

Any amendments to numbers/afternoon tea selections to your booking also require a minimum of 48hrs!

External Food/Drink

It is prohibited to bring any external food/drink onto the property not only for the health and safety for other guests, but in order to protect the viability of our tearoom

In the case of complex allergies/requirements, please contact us in advance and we will do our best to assist you

Paint A Pot Studio Fee

When booking your paint a pot slot, we ask for a non-refundable £2.50pp studio fee to cover the costs of the clear glaze that goes on after you finish painting, and the kiln firing. It also acts as a deposit to secure your booking, in case of cancellation.

Paint A Pot Allocation

When booking, please state the total number of people who will be sitting at your table, even if they don’t intend to paint. This ensures we allocate you an appropritately sized table, and protects the viability of our paint a pot studio

Workshop Cancellations

We work hard to price our workshops fairly and to offer good value for money. We therefore have a clear non-refundable and no transfers policy to ensure that we cover our costs, and to protect the ongoing viability of our workshop.

We do appreciate that sometimes unforeseen circumstances may mean that your cannot attend a workshop and we are happy for you to send along a friend to take your place. Please provide us with their name and contact details prior to the workshop.

Reserving A Piece of Artwork

Interested in a piece of work in the gallery? We can hold it for 24hrs without a deposit, or up to three weeks with a minimum deposit of £50. If the deposit is not paid within 24hrs, then the piece goes back up for sale

Kiln Share

This service is intended primarily for experienced potters who are familiar with the firing process and have a clear understanding of their clay and glaze requirements

This ensures the safety and optimal performance of our kiln as improperly prepared pieces can lead to issues that may damage the kiln or affect the work of other kiln users, which may result in restituation

Prices range from £5-£60 depending on the amount of space and temperature you require

All un/loading of the kiln is done by staff

Gallery Returns

Eden Gallery is an agent on behalf of the artists. The pieces exhibited are on a sale or return agreements. For this reason all breakages must be paid for and refunds/returns/exchanges are only available when a defective item cannot be repaired or replaced by the maker. Paintings and print sales are final and cannot be refunded.
