DESCRIPTION:Join Helen Worthington in this ‘Acrylic Inks Dragonfly Painting’ workshop. \nThis is the perfect opportunity to have a go with the gorgeous colours of Acrylic Inks\, to create your own beautiful painting of a shimmering Dragonfly\, on a background of loose colours and delightful Bullrushes. \nIn this class\, Helen will also teach you how to easily transfer a drawn design onto a painting background ready for painting. This is a useful technique which you’ll be able to use for your own projects in the future.  \nAcrylic Inks are very vibrant\, and once dry\, completely permanent! Therefore\, please ensure you wear suitable clothing which won’t matter if the ink splashes/spills onto it.  \nPlease don’t forget to bring something with you to carry your project home in – a small lidded tray or box will be fine. \nAll levels of experience welcome (age 14 upwards). Full instructions will be given to everyone during this session. \nAll materials will be provided. \n  \nPlease note that if you wish to use Eden’s first floor Tearoom before or after the workshop\, even for drinks and cake\, you must book a table via the website as availability cannot be guaranteed.  \nPlease note that we have a clear non-refundable & no transfer policy to ensure that we cover our costs and protect the ongoing viability of the workshop. If you’ve used them before\, you’ll be familiar with how versatile and fun they can be! \nOn a sturdy piece of cream mountboard\, you will be given a pre-drawn outline of ‘Peter Puffin”\, so you don’t need to worry about drawing him. You can then enjoy painting in all the details to create a lovely medium-sized finished picture to keep. \nAcrylic paints\, once dry\, are completely permanent! DESCRIPTION:Join Helen Worthington from Evendawn Arts in this ‘Exploring Watercolour’ Workshop. \nThis is a perfect taster workshop for anyone who’s always wanted to try watercolour painting but have been too nervous to! It’s also great for those with a small amount of experience to practice looser painting styles and build confidence. \nThe aim of this ‘Exploring Watercolours’ class is to have FUN\, and to get past the anxiety many people experience when approaching watercolour painting! There is absolutely NO DRAWING involved\, so you can simply enjoy playing with the paints\, without stressing over the outcome.  \nYou’ll explore how to use a basic set of colours and see the way they blend and harmonise on paper\, along with using different types of brushes and some more unusual tools to create fascinating effects. \nThere will be a selection of simple and enjoyable exercises\, which will offer you a great basis in watercolor painting.
