SUMMARY:'Peter Puffin" Acrylic Workshop Sat 25th July 1:30pm
DESCRIPTION:Join Helen Worthington of Evendawn Arts in this Acrylic ‘Peter Puffin’ Painting workshop. \nBefore starting the project\, Helen will explain everything about the paints\, brushes and techniques to be used during the session\, so this is a perfect opportunity to try acrylic painting if it’s new to you! If you’ve used them before\, you’ll be familiar with how versatile and fun they can be! \nOn a sturdy piece of cream mountboard\, you will be given a pre-drawn outline of ‘Peter Puffin”\, so you don’t need to worry about drawing him. You can then enjoy painting in all the details to create a lovely medium-sized finished picture to keep. \nAcrylic paints\, once dry\, are completely permanent! Therefore\, please ensure you wear suitable clothing which won’t matter if the paint gets onto it! \nPlease don’t forget to bring something with you to carry your projects home in – a small lidded tray or box will be fine. \nAll levels of experience welcome (Age 12 upwards). Full instructions will be given to everyone during the session.  \nAll materials will be provided \n  \nHere at Eden we have a clear non-refundable & no transfer policy to ensure that we cover our costs and protect the ongoing viability of the workshop. We do appreciate that sometimes unforeseen circumstances may mean that you cant attend a workshop and we are happy for you to send along a friend to take your place\, we will need their name and contact details prior to the workshop \n

DESCRIPTION:This workshop is for children aged 7+ to experience the potters wheel.  You will be guided and helped by our Pottery Teacher Vikki on how to prepare the clay\, fix it to the wheel and how to form a basic pot using just your hands and fingers. \nDue to the strength needed to manipulate the clay and operate the foot peddle this class is not suitable for under 7’s.  Please don’t book a younger child onto this class as they will not be able to participate on the day. \nIf your child has additional needs and will require extra support you will need to be prepared to get involved.  Please email Vikki directly to advise her – vikki@edentearoom.com \nParents and guardians are welcome to stay in the room to watch the class or they may to visit our Tearoom\, although we cannot guarantee availability without booking first. Please remain on the premises during the kid’s class. \nWe work hard to keep our workshops affordable and value for money\, therefore we cannot transfer or refund any bookings unless your original place can be filled.
