SUMMARY:Potters Wheel with Marbled Clay Sat 20th June 10.30am
DESCRIPTION:This is a new workshop aimed at people who have some potters wheel experience. \nThe day will start colouring your clay. This involves wedging coloured pigments into white clay until you have an even colour throughout.  You will need a small range of colours to create the marbled effect. All materials are provided. \nYou will break for lunch at 12.30pm for an hour.  Once you have booked your place\, we will send you a menu to choose your pre ordered food. Your lunch and two drinks are included in the workshop price. \nAfter lunch\, you will use your marbled clay on the potters wheel to create small vessels. You will be shown how to use tools to highlight the marbled effect. \nOnce dried and fired we will clear glaze your pieces and refine.  You can collected your finished pieces at a later date. \nFor your safety we advise that no open toed shoes are worn\, long hair is tied back and nails are short if possible. We will provide aprons but please wear clothes and shoes you don’t mind getting clay on. Please pass this information onto everyone you are booking places for. \nYour workshop will be run by our Pottery Teacher Christine. \nPlease note these Potters Wheel Tasters are for aged 16+ only.  We run classes specifically for children. \nWorkshop vouchers are available. Please email workshops@edentearoom.com for details. \nWe work hard to price our workshops competitively and provide a quality service.  Therefore\, our policy is that no workshop places can be refunded or transferred unless the place can be filled. We understand things can happen and prevent you from attending so we are happy for you to send someone in your place if necessary.
