SUMMARY:Ceramic Poppyheads Sat 13th June 10am
DESCRIPTION:Join us to create your own set of ceramic poppyheads.  You will be guided step-by-step on the making process to create the basic structure\, then you will have the opportunity to be creative and add details and texture to create your own version.  There will be lots of inspiration and guidance on hand\, plus full use of cutters and moulds. \nOnce dried and kiln fired after about 2 weeks\, you will be invited back at your convenience to add colour with our glazes.  Alternatively you can leave instructions of your colour choices with our teachers who can glaze them for you.  After another kiln firing your finished pieces will be available for collection. \nThis workshop is suitable for beginners. Adults only. \nPlease note we cannot refund or transfer any booked places until they are refilled. If you wish to use our Tearoom you must book via our website as we cannot guarantee availability on the day.

SUMMARY:Kid’s Potters Wheel Taster Sat 13th June 2.30pm
DESCRIPTION:This workshop is for children aged 7+ to experience the potters wheel.  You will be guided and helped by our Pottery Teacher Vikki on how to prepare the clay\, fix it to the wheel and how to form a basic pot using just your hands and fingers. \nDue to the strength needed to manipulate the clay and operate the foot peddle this class is not suitable for under 7’s.  Please don’t book a younger child onto this class as they will not be able to participate on the day. \nIf your child has additional needs and will require extra support you will need to be prepared to get involved.  Please email Vikki directly to advise her – vikki@edentearoom.com \nParents and guardians are welcome to stay in the room to watch the class or they may to visit our Tearoom\, although we cannot guarantee availability without booking first. Please remain on the premises during the kid’s class. \nWe work hard to keep our workshops affordable and value for money\, therefore we cannot transfer or refund any bookings unless your original place can be filled.
