DESCRIPTION:Join us in the gallery for our Watercolour Wednesday afternoon. Got a degree in art or never held a brush before come and paint with Karen. \nIn this session you will be guided step-by-step to create a miniature watercolour landscape painting incorporating a range of techniques. (See photo) All materials provided for this class. \nThis session is very informal and relaxed. It’s taught by veteran watercolour artist Karen Buckels who has spent a lifetime of teaching art. \n“If yours isn’t at the same standard as mine then it’s my fault and NOT YOURS and i’ve never had a failure yet!” ~ Karen Buckels. \nThis session will start at 1pm. \nPlease note that if you wish to use our Tearoom after the workshop you must book via our website as we cannot guarantee availability. \nWe work hard to price our workshops fairly and offer good value for money. We therefore have a clear non-refundable & no transfers policy to ensure that we cover our costs and protect the ongoing viability of the workshop. we do appreciate that sometimes unforeseen circumstances may mean that you can’t attend a workshop and we are happy for you to send along a friend to take your place\, we will need their name and contact details prior to the workshop.

DESCRIPTION:This is a new series of workshops we are running aimed at people who are regular makers and have an interest in developing their skills and knowledge. Each session will focus on a different topic or technique. Please email workshops@edentearoom.com if you have any questions regarding these workshops. \nThis skills-based workshop introduces screen-printing techniques for use on ceramics.  Attendees will work with a selection of ready-made screens and learn how to print directly onto clay as well as how to use the same screen with a jelly plate to transfer designs onto a bisque-fired piece.  By exploring and comparing both methods\, participants will gain practical experience and confidence to incorporate screen printing into their own ceramic work. \nPlease note we cannot refund or transfer unless your original places are filled.  If you wish to use our Tearoom you must book via our website.
