Join Helen Worthington of Evendawn arts in the watercolour workshop where you will paint a robin and donkey card.
Starting with some ‘warm-up’ exercises beforehand for you to get used to the paints, brushes, paper, etc, and at that point you’ll mix your colours ready to start painting. Then we will begin with the lovely Robin card, Helen will explain everything as you go along, including different techniques and ways to work with the paints, such as applying masking fluid and how to create a great background effect. After that, you can try the slightly more detailed, and very sweet, Donkey painting – again with full instructions at all stages.
This workshop is aimed at all levels – from beginners to watercolour painting, or to anyone who has already used them, and who wants to learn how to paint a couple of Cards.
Each subject will already be drawn out for you on suitable watercolour paper, so there’s no need to worry about being able to draw!
All materials provided.
Please note if you wish to use Eden’s first floor tearoom before or after the workshop, even for drinks and cake, you must book a table via the website as availability cannot be guaranteed.
