Talaveran Style Tortoise

During this workshop you will create a Talaveran style Tortoise using stoneware and simple handbuilding techniques. Once formed you will then be introduced to the Talaveran style of pottery, with its rich vibrant colours and bold designs. After designing your own pattern you will carve this into the shell of your tortoise. Once dried and fired you will then return for a second session to glaze and bring your tortoise to life with a variety of vibrant glazes.
Perfect to nestle amongst the plants in your garden or simple add colour to a shelf at home.
