Sgraffito Plates Sun 16th June 10.30am

Sgraffito is a decoration technique where coloured slip (liquid clay) is layered onto a clay form, dried and then scratched into to reveal the clay colour underneath.  It is a chance to ‘draw’ with clay.

In this workshop you will make a clay plate and then use our coloured slips and scratching tools to transfer a design onto your plate.  Its advised to bring some ideas with you, even if its just screen shots on your phone.

There is no construction in this workshop, so its suitable for any level.
