This is a 5 consecutive Thursday evening course, starting on Thursday 1st until Thursday 29th June.
The price is £250 per person and includes all materials, kiln firings and use of studio equipment as well as tuition from an experienced potter and teacher.
Aimed at complete beginners, this 5 session course will provide you with the knowledge, skills and confidence to produce your own ceramics. Covering both hand building and potters wheel techniques, you will have hands on experience from Week 1.
In Week 3 you will be able to make your own creations, using any of the techniques you have experienced. The final week, will involve glazing all the pieces you’ve made on the course.

Introduction to hand building processes, including pinch, slab and coil
Week 2
Introduction to the potters wheel
Week 3
Create your own makes
Week 4
Microwave Raku and decorating slip techniques
Week 5
Glazing all your course makes
Finished work to be collected at a later date.
