Kid’s Potters Wheel Taster Thurs 20th Feb 1.30pm

This class is suitable for children aged 7 up to 16 only.  Due to the nature of operating the potters wheel and manipulating the clay, younger children would find this class too difficult.

During this class each child will produce one pot on the potters wheel.  They will be shown how to prepare the clay, fix it to the wheel and how to use their fingers and hands to manipulate the clay to form a pot shape.

Once made, participants will be able to choose a colour from those on offer.  Our pottery teachers will glaze the pot in the chosen colour once it has dried and had its first firing. Once cooled and wrapped, you will be contacted to collect.
