Kid’s Clay Club (Y7-Y11) Sat 26th Sept – Sat 10th Oct 2pm

This is a new venture aimed at KS3 children, Y7-Y11.  It is a short course of three consecutive Saturday afternoons, starting on Saturday 26th September until Saturday 10th October.  The sessions will run 2-3.30pm.  Places are limited to 5 so everyone can be supported.

Week 1 will be a handbuilding session, run by Christine.  You will make a project using hand building processes and be shown how to join and construct clay.

Week 2 will be a session on a potters wheel, run by Vikki. You will be guided on how to create a pot on a potters wheel, with demos and suppport.

Week 3 will be a glazing session, run by Christine. You will glaze all the items you have made over the previous two sessions.

Finished pieces can be collected at a later date after they have been through the kiln.
