New at Eden this Autumn! Acrylic Painting Experience with Professional Artist Judith Herring – “Hebridean Heaven” Seascape – 7pm-9pm
Over two 2 hour sessions professional artist Judith Herring will take you through each stage, explaining and demonstrating the process of painting this beautiful seascape. You will be supplied with a top-quality Loxley canvas and Judith will provide all other materials including paints, brushes, palettes, etc. It is advisable to bring an apron in case things get messy!
Week 1 – In this session we’ll lay the foundation for the painting. Composition is very important, so we make sure we have everything in place before we start painting. All areas of the canvas are covered, some colours mixed on the palette and others blended on the canvas. There isn’t much detail at this paint, we are creating colours and tonal values to progress in more details
Week 2 – The second session is where things get much more exciting! We’ll use lots of different painting and mark making techniques to create texture and light to bring your painting to life.
Suitable for all leaves – Beginners welcome
All materials provided
From each Workshop, you will leave with a 50×50 Loxley canvas painting to display!
