Greenman Garden Plaque Evening Workshop 21st April

Join Pots of Magic for an evening workshop at Eden to create your very own unique Greenman. Traditionally a symbol of rebirth and renewal, the Greenman also represents the cycle of new growth.

Firstly, you will be taught the skills of sculpting a face from stoneware clay, then given the freedom to create your own cheeky character and surrounding leaves using holly and ivy templates. If you would like to incorporate any leaves from your garden, please feel free to bring them along to imprint into the clay.

Once completed your piece will be dried and fired, then you will return to glaze, creative a beautiful festive ornament that you can bring out each year.

This workshop is suitable for all abilities including complete beginners as each stage is talked through step by step.
