Join Ita Hicks from Ita’s Natural Essentials in this Exfoliating Salt Soap Workshop. No experience needed – just bring your curiosity!

Ready to roll up your sleeves and dive into something creative? In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn how to make you very own spa-style exfoliating salt soap – gorgeously textured bars that gently buff and refresh your skin, using Himalayan salt, natural clays, and essential oils.

Led by award-winning soapmaker Ita Hicks (that’ s me!), you’ll get to explore beautiful ingredients, try your hand at traditional cold process soapmaking, and create bars you’ll be proud to show off….. Or not share at all. No judgement.

What you’ll learn:

• Why salt bars are the sunsung heroes of natural skincare
• How to safely make a small batch of cold process soap (no panic – i’ll be there every step)
•  How to personalise your soaps with essential oils, clays, and natural colourants 
• Tricks for texture, exfoliation, and that ‘ooh-what’s-that-smell’ effect
• Top tips to stay safe, clean, and confident while crafting.

• All ingredients, no need to bring a thing
• Use of professional tools and safety gear
• Step-by-step printed guide to take home (with a recipe you *will* want to make again)
• A reusable silicone mould (because good soap deserves a good shape)
• A small batch of your very own handmade exfoliating salt soaps

Safety & Practical info

We want everyone to feel safe, confident, and enjoy themselves – even if it’s your first time around lye!

• Gloves provided (and encouraged). Goggles too – we go for stylish safety!
• Apron optional, but maybe don’t wear your best cashmere 
• No food or drink during the making bit – soap and snacks don’t mix
• Allergies? Let us know in advance so we can look after you properly ( ita@itasnaturalessentials.com )
• Minimum age: 18 (because lye is grown-up stuff)

We work hard to price our workshops fairly and offer good value for money. We therefore have a clear non-refundable & no transfer policy to ensure that we cover our costs and protect the ongoing viability of the workshop. We do appreciate that sometimes unforeseen circumstances may mean that you cannot attend a workshop and we are happy for you to send along a friend to take your place, we will need their name and contact details prior to the workshop.
