English Landscapes – Local country Lane and rural view in Spring.
Nick Goldsworthy, regular & local ‘artist’ at Eden Gallery will share his experience gained over 50 years of painting UK towns, villages, harbours and country scenes.
He will demonstrate and guide you through the key stages of producing a successful watercolour painting so that by the end of the Workshop you will have completed or majority completed your own ‘English country lane and rural landscape painting.’ Nick has been a practising artist for over 50 years. He is self taught and is well known, particularly for his Watercolour’s, which depict his favourite Landscape subjects, with that extra detail.Nick generally paints initially on location, directly from nature, which gives his final subject matter the natural light, true colour and subtle shades that create his distinctive recognisable style.
Live demonstration of the various key stages of how to produce a watercolour to a professional standard.
Three sessions to explore the use of light and shadows in an English countryside landscape, including creating a spring sky with atmosphere and giving depth to trees.
