Creative Writing Workshop Mon 29th Jan 2pm

If you want to spend two hours immersed in nature and discovering your inner poet, join this workshop run by Hazel from Skytree Arts. If you’ve never written a poem before, you will surprise yourself! If you already enjoy creative writing, you will find new inspiration.

Connecting with nature through writing can help you see the world afresh, feel enlivened and expanded, and enjoy the deep satisfaction of putting your experience into words. You don’t have to have any idea what you want to say before you begin; writing poetry is the most wonderful way to find out what we feel, know, and are curious about.

Hazel will provide images, objects and texts to wake up your imagination and free your creative expression, and will gently guide you through different ways of generating poetry.

By the end of this relaxing and inspiring session, you will have created your own unique poems in response to the natural world.

The cost is £25 and all materials are provided
