Join Ita Hicks from Its’s Natural Essentials in this Beginner’s Natural Soap-Making Workshop. No experience needed – just bring your curiosity and maybe a sense of adventure!

Step into the world of natural cold process soap-making with this hands-on, relaxed workshop. Whether you’re dreaming of your own artisan soap line or simply love a good lather, this session will guide you from oils to oh-wow in one afternoon.

We’ll be working with gentle plant-based ingredients, clays and essential oils to make skin-loving bars that look beautiful as they feel. You’ll leave with the confidence to keep creating at home – and a loaf soap that smells amazing.

What you’ll lean:

• The basics of cold process soap-making and how it all comes together
• How to choose oils, butters, clays, and essential oils to suit your skin
• The science-y bit: safety, lye, and how to work with it calmly and confidently
• How to add natural colours and textures like petals or oats
• Tips for pouring, curing, and storing your finished soaps

• All ingredients and tools provided
• A reusable silicone mould to keep (perfect for future batches!)
• A full small loaf of soap made by you (approx. 5 bars)
• Printed recipe and guide so you can keep creating at home
• A welcoming, supportive session filled with inspiration and gentle laughter 

Safety & Practical info

To keep everyone safe and happy:

• Gloves and safety glasses are provided and should be worn when working with lye
• Aprons are optional, but mess happens – old clothes are welcome
• No food or drink allowed during the soap- making itself (the oils are for soap, not salads)
• Please inform us of any allergies or sensitivities in advance (ita@itasnaturalessentials.com )
• Participants must be aged 18+

We do appreciate that sometimes unforeseen circumstances may mean that you cannot attend a workshop and we are happy for you to
