Each week will focus on a different handbuilding process with guided step-by-step makes to give you practical hands on experience…
Week 1 – Slab building – using templates and rolled out sheets of clay.
Week 2 – Coil & pinch – combining two techniques of pinching out clay and adding coils of clay to create height.
Week 3 – Opportunity to make your choice of piece or be given a simple brief to follow.
Week 4 – Glazing – you will be introduced to glazing and glaze everything you’ve made in previous weeks.
You will leave the course with a file of handouts and resources for future reference if you want to continue your clay journey…
If you cannot make one of the sessions, unfortunately we cannot refund or transfer your missed class. We will do our best to catch you up during the sessions you can attend.
