Sgraffito Plate or Dish Saturday 12th September 6pm

Discover the satisfying art of sgraffito, a decorative ceramic technique where you scratch through a layer of coloured slip to reveal the clay beneath, creating striking patterns and illustrations.

In this hands-on workshop, you’ll make your own plate or dish, using the moulds provided. Once you chosen and added your coloured slip, you will learn the basics of exploring mark-making and composition, using the provided tools to bring your design to creation.

There will be lots of inspiration to hand, but you are welcome to bring your own simple designs to use.

This is perfect for beginners and experienced. Once finished, your piece will be dried, glazed and kiln fired.  You can collect at a later date.
