Each week will focus on a different handbuilding process with guided step-by-step makes to give you practical hands on experience…
Week 1 – Slab building – using templates and rolled out sheets of clay.
Week 2 – Coil & pinch – combining two techniques of pinching out clay and adding coils of clay to create height.
Week 3 – Opportunity to make your choice of piece or be given a simple brief to follow.
Week 4 – Glazing – you will be introduced to glazing and glaze everything you’ve made in previous weeks.
You will leave the course with a file of handouts and resources for future reference if you want to continue your clay journey…
