Ceramic Greenman Sat 16th May 6-8pm

Join Vikki from Victoria Jane Ceramics to create your own Greenman, just in time for the warmer months.  Using provided forms and cutters you will be guided on how to build up the face features and then add leaves and natural details to create your own character.  Once dried and fired, Vikki will glaze your finished piece in your choice of colour.

Traditionally, the Greenman is an ancient symbol of rebirth, regeneration and the cyclical nature of Spring.  It represents the eternal cycle of growth, death and rebirth in the turning of the seasons and some view it as a guardian of the Earth.  It is usual to display a Greenman in your garden.

Suitable for beginners.  Age 16+ only please.

Please note, as this is an evening workshop, our Tearoom and Gallery will be closed and no refreshments will be available.
