‘Frozen Pond’ Ceramic Platter Sun 15th & Sun 29th March 10.30am

In this two part workshop you will create a beautifully shaped stoneware platter using a slab building technique.  Week 1 will be the making session when you will use a simple forma to support the clay slab to create your shape.  Your piece will then be dried and fired ready for the second session. Week 2 is when you will explore glaze layering to decorate the surface in a soft atmospheric ‘frozen pond’ style.

This class is suitable for beginners. Adults only.  You must be available for both sessions.
