Beginners Pottery Evening Course 19th March -9th April 6.30-9pm

This 4-session evening course is aimed at people who have little or no clay experience.  You will be given an introduction into different making processes, including slab, coil and potters wheel.

The sessions will run on 4 consecutive Thursday evenings starting on 19th March until 9th April.  If you miss a session unfortunately we do not have the available studio time for you to make this up. The class starts at 6.30pm until 9pm.  As our building closes at 5pm, access will only be available from 6.15pm.  Our Tearoom will be closed.

On this course, Week 1 will be a small project to experience different hand-building processes, Week 2 will be on the potters wheel, Week 3 will be a chance to make your own thing and on Week 4 you will glaze everything you’ve made.  You will cover as much as is possible without it becoming overwhelming. Finished work can be collected at a later date.

Please note we cannot refund or transfer your booking unless your original place fills.  We need at least 3 people booked on to run this course.  If the course doesn’t run, we will obviously transfer or refund.
